Visiting hours

• Preferred general visiting hours are 6:00am to 8:00pm daily; visitation may be accommodated after hours at a patient’s request.
• Some specialized units may have other set visitation hours and may limit the number of visitors. You may call the nursing station for more information prior to visiting:

Visitors under 12 years of age are discouraged from visiting. Exceptions may be made based on extenuating circumstances.

• Authorized visitors under the age of 12 must be continuously supervised by an adult visitor.

Community outbreaks / pandemics:

• Visiting may be limited or restricted during a pandemic or other outbreaks in our community based on immediate public health requirements
• When visitation is permitted, clinical staff will communicate with visitors regarding prevention of infection when visiting
• Visitors are expected to conform to posted infection control precautions which may include:
  
  • Visitor screening
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Visitation restrictions related to patient isolation precautions

Parking and valet service

There is ample visitor and patient parking HCA Florida Memorial Hospital including:

• Complimentary valet parking service is available at the main lobby entrance on University Boulevard.
• Valet parking is free.
• Complimentary valet parking service is available at the Heart Center entrance.
• Valet parking is free.
• Complimentary parking garage on University Boulevard.
• Complimentary parking lot in front of the Memorial Office Building on University Boulevard and Harvin Road.

Restaurants and vending machines

The cafeteria is located on the first floor of the main hospital. Monday through Sunday, it features hot entrees, cold items, sandwiches, desserts, salads and beverages from:

• Breakfast from 6:00am to 10:00am
• Full grill and hot line from 11:00am to 2:00pm
• Grill service only from 2:00pm to 4:00pm
• Dinner from 4:30pm to 8:00pm

Vending machines are located in the emergency room, cafeteria and critical care. These areas may be accessed at all times.

Starbucks is located in the West Tower Lobby, the coffee kiosk serves flavored coffees, lattes and pastries Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm.

Gift shop

The gift shop is open six days a week. In addition to the traditional gift shop items such as reading materials, candy, flowers, etc., the shop also offers long distance calling cards, loungewear, jewelry, and many other quality gift items. The gift shop is open:

• Monday through Friday from 9:00am — 6:45pm
• Saturday from 10:00am — 3:45pm
• Closed Sunday

If your visitors need assistance with directions or visitation information our information desk is located in the main lobby.

Overnight accommodations/lodging

A variety of hotels are in close proximity to HCA Florida Memorial Hospital. Some offer special rates and/or shuttle service for family members of patients staying at the hospital. When making a reservation, inform them that you have a family member staying at our facility. Should you need assistance, contact the Public Relations Department.
