Colleagues at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital and HCA Florida West Marion Hospital were proud to show up for homeless and needy children during July.

On Aug. 5, both hospitals welcomed the team from "MISSION: Bus Brigade - Supply Their Success" from Marion County Public Schools to provide the donations made by colleagues during last month's school-supply drive.

"MISSION: Bus Brigade - Supply Their Success" is an annual outreach program sponsored by the school system's Families in Transition Program. The campaign collects new school supplies, children's clothes, shoes, personal hygiene items, and even financial contributions to support underprivileged students throughout the county.

Overall, colleagues who participated in the "We Show Up School Supply Drive 2025" donated 1,914 school supplies!

Those supplies will aid the 1,500 homeless students served by Marion County Public Schools in getting a good start to the new school year.
