Site to collect unused and expired medications at St. Petersburg Hospital

St. Petersburg Hospital and local law enforcement will work together to collect old medications.

HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital Partners with Local Law Enforcement Agencies for “Operation Medicine Cabinet”

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with other local law enforcement agencies, collect unused and expired prescription medication.

St. Petersburg, FL — HCA Florida St Petersburg Hospital announced that it will serve as a collection point for Pinellas County’s “Operation Medicine Cabinet,” coordinated by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department as well as local law enforcement agencies.

Residents may dispose of unused or expired medications, excluding biohazard items and needles. Officers and pharmacy staff of HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital will accept medications and dispose of them properly free of charge.

Please bring medications to HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital, 6500 38th Avenue North, near the Emergency Room entrance from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, April 27.
