At UCF Lake Nona Hospital, part of HCA Florida Healthcare, our experienced and knowledgeable leadership team is committed to improving the quality of care we provide to serve the healthcare needs of our community.

Chief Executive Officer, Wendy H. Brandon, FACHE

Wendy Brandon is the Chief Executive Officer of UCF Lake Nona Hospital, a partnership hospital between the University of Central Florida Academic Health and HCA Healthcare, which opened on March 1, 2021 in Orlando’s Medical City in Lake Nona.

For the past six years Wendy has led the design and development of the hospital campus, and built a premiere team of talented people to serve Lake Nona and the communities in Southeast Orange and Osceola Counties through this technologically advanced new medical facility.

Wendy is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, earned a Master in Business Administration from Belmont University and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Since 1995, she has held numerous leadership positions in hospitals owned by HCA Healthcare, one of the nation’s leading providers of healthcare services.

A servant leader, Wendy shares her time and expertise with community organizations dedicated to education, healthcare and the underserved. Through her volunteer leadership, she has worked to improve quality of life in the Orlando Region by serving as a Trustee and Chairman of the Board for Seminole State College. She currently serves as a Board Member and former Chairman of the Board of CareerSource Central Florida, is a Member of the Orlando Economic Partnership Board of Directors, is part of the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Executive Committee for the American Heart Association (AHA) Central Florida Heart Walk, serving as event chair in 2025, is a member of AHA’s Circle of Red and serves on the Board of Shepherd’s Hope.

Chief Nursing Officer, Megan Koorn, MBA-HM, BSN, RN, NE-BC

Megan began her role as Chief Nursing Officer at UCF Lake Nona Hospital in Orlando, Fla., in September 2022. She oversees overall authority for leadership, direction, and administration of direct patient care activities in addition to nursing practice, nursing education and development across the organization.

With 15 years’ experience, Koorn most recently served as Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla. She has been in nursing leadership within HCA Healthcare since 2014, previously leading Critical Care and Progressive Care Units. Prior to her work in Jacksonville, Megan was Director of Critical Care Services at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, and formerly Director of PCU and MICU at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital.

Megan earned her BSN in Registered Nursing from Chamberlain University, a Masters of Business Administration from Western Governors University, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Capella University.

Chief Financial Officer, Kreg Faith, CPA

Kreg Faith, continued his career at HCA Healthcare as Chief Financial Officer for UCF Lake Nona Hospital in Orlando, Fla., in September 2023.

With 15 years’ experience, Kreg most recently served as Assistant Chief Financial Officer at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., prior to taking on his current role.

Prior to his position at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, Kreg held leadership accounting roles at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital and Oviedo Medical Center. He has been in accounting leadership with HCA Healthcare since 2017.

In his role, Kreg provides overall authority for leadership, direction and oversight of financial activity across the hospital organization. A 12-year veteran of HCA Healthcare, Kreg joined the company as assistant controller in 2013.

Kreg earned his BS in Business Administration and Accounting, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee, and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
