Inverness, FL — Citrus Memorial Hospital recently announced the appointment of Cheyenne “Rene” Thomas, MBA as Vice President of Human Resources.

“We aim to deliver the best healthcare possible to our community by providing our caregivers with new opportunities to grow and make a positive impact,” said Chief Executive Officer Ginger Carroll. “We look forward to working with Rene and feel she will be a tremendous leader as we continue our journey to be the healthcare provider and employer of choice for Citrus County.”

Thomas has more than 19 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources, including six within healthcare. She comes to Citrus Memorial Hospital most recently from St. Petersburg General Hospital, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration in Human Resources from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Thomas is currently enrolled at Liberty University in a Doctor of Business Administration in Leadership program.
