Imaging services

Imaging services refers to the performance of imaging exams for better visualization and treatment of medical conditions. Different exams allow radiologists and physicians to view structures and activity within the body. Imaging exams are vital for diagnosis and there are a wide range of tests that can be performed.

Our radiology services

Our diagnostic testing and imaging services include:

Bone density testing

According to the National Osteoporosis Foundation, approximately half of all women 50 years old and older will break a bone because of osteoporosis. Although a broken bone can result in a difficult recovery at any age, bone breaks are especially serious when you are older. Bone density testing can help identify if you have osteoporosis and help your doctor develop a personalized treatment plan.

For more information about our bone density testing services, please call (877) 341-7017.

Breast imaging

We offer breast screening and imaging as one of the ways to help you stay on top of your breast health. For example, early diagnosis for breast cancer is vital, and imaging services, such as digital mammography and breast ultrasounds, play key roles in this process.

Heart imaging

Using advanced, noninvasive diagnostic tests, the talented team at our hospital performs a variety of medical exams to detect the presence of heart disease. In addition to blood work and more specialized procedures, our heart care providers may use other imaging tests and cardiac stress testing. They can use these diagnostics to evaluate cardiac disorders, such as ischemia, ejection fractions and heart wall motility.

Computerized tomography (CT) scan

CT scans combine multiple, detailed X-ray images to produce a cross-sectional, 3D image of blood vessels, soft tissues and bones in the body. A CT scan can be used to identify the severity of a traumatic injury and to determine the location of damaged or blocked blood vessels after a stroke.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

Our diagnostic teams use MRIs to see details inside the body, view the extent of injuries and detect diseases. An MRI is a very common, noninvasive technique that allows physicians to examine numerous areas of the body, including the abdomen, breasts, musculoskeletal system, brain and bile ducts.

X-ray

X-rays are used to make pictures of bones, breasts and other parts of the body using electromagnetic radiation. We often use X-rays to examine internal structures inside the body and inform our diagnosis.
