NICU
The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) provides critical care to newborns who are ill or premature. Many factors may lead to a newborn being admitted to the NICU, including low birth weight or complications during delivery. The NICU staff works closely with parents to develop a treatment plan for their newborn.

Visiting the NICU
We believe that time spent with your newborn is essential to bonding and emotional healing. To support this connection, we welcome parents and visitors over the age of 16 to visit our Level II NICU throughout the day. We also encourage you to join the daily medical rounds so you can stay informed about your baby’s care plan. To protect patient privacy and ensure a smooth transition between care teams, we ask that visitors avoid arriving during shift change, which occurs daily from 6:30am to 7:30am and 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
