Orthopedic care

Orthopedic doctors, called orthopedists, take care of bones and joints. This includes knee pain, total joint replacement, issues that impact your spine and more. You might need to see an orthopedist if you have arthritis or osteoporosis, or if you've had a recent sprain, strain or broken bone.

Treatments and Services

When you come to our hospital, we will talk with you about your symptoms and perform diagnostic testing. Once we have an accurate diagnosis, we will develop a treatment plan. Some of the treatments we offer include:

Joint replacement surgery

Our skilled orthopedic surgeons offer joint replacement surgery to relieve this pain and help you get back to an active life. Patients typically experience many benefits after joint replacement surgery, such as improved quality of life, reduced pain and restored movement in the joint.

Hip replacement

We offer total hip replacement and partial hip replacement (hip resurfacing) options. Total hip replacement surgery involves removing the ball and socket and replacing them with prosthetic implants.

Hip resurfacing

Hip resurfacing involves first trimming the damaged cartilage and bone in the ball and socket. Then, the femoral head (the highest part of the thigh bone) is capped with a metal covering, and a metal shell is placed in the hip socket.

Knee replacement

We offer total and partial knee replacement (knee resurfacing) to treat damaged or diseased knee joints. During a total knee replacement, the knee joint is replaced with an artificial joint.

Partial knee replacement

A partial knee replacement replaces only the damaged part of the knee joint with a prosthetic implant. The implant is matched to your anatomy. This procedure allows a significant amount of the bone to be preserved. It also often results in a faster recovery time.

Shoulder replacement

Shoulder replacement surgery replaces the upper part of the arm bone and/or the socket in the shoulder joint with metal or plastic components.
