Our inpatient rehabilitation program
Our hospital's rehab program is for those who require services during their hospital stay. Inpatient rehabilitation, including aquatic, lymphedema, occupational and speech therapy services, are geared toward improving function, preparing you for discharge and if needed, aftercare.
The acute care rehab team has the goal of helping you regain your highest level of mobility, independence, and practical movement. We provide therapy services in a comfortable, medically supervised setting. Our program offers nurse coverage 24/7 and two gyms for therapy exercises.
Our inpatient rehabilitation services include:
- Clinical and neuropsychological evaluation and treatment
- Cognitive (brain) function rehabilitation
- Nutritional counseling and consultation
- Occupational therapy

- Prosthetics and orthotics

- Swallowing evaluation and retraining
Medicare and commercial insurance providers recognize our 20-bed acute care rehabilitation unit as an approved setting for patients to receive intensive therapy services and physician care within a hospital environment. We provide services Monday through Saturday, with Sunday coverage available as needed.
Case management, discharge planning and other assistive services are available to help you transition from an inpatient hospital stay back into your home and the community. We are here to educate you and your family and to provide convenient access to social services and community resources.
