New unit expanding specialized care opens at HCA Florida St. Petersburg

The unit officially began serving patients on Monday, August 4, 2025.
The Progressive Care Unit offers enhanced clinical capabilities for patients who require close monitoring and specialized attention, but do not need the intensity of an ICU setting.
