As part of our joint replacement program, Joint Venture, we provide total and partial hip and knee replacements. During joint replacements, our surgical teams replace damaged or diseased joints with artificial ones. Joint replacement surgery can reduce your pain and help improve your functionality and mobility.
Anterior hip replacement
We are dedicated to providing advanced hip replacement surgery. We use the anterior approach for hip replacement, which can offer many potential benefits, including:

Preoperative joint replacement education
Through our Joint Venture program, we offer a preoperative educational class led by a nurse certified in orthopedics. Our class allows you to prepare for surgery and gain knowledge on the care you will receive during your hospital stay. We believe individuals who are better informed and are active participants in their care can have better surgical outcomes.
You can expect the following from our joint replacement class:
- An introduction to our orthopedic care team
- An opportunity to ask any questions and ease anxieties related to the upcoming surgery
- An overview of what to expect before, during and after surgery
- A discharge planner teaches you about home recovery, the types of special equipment needed and how to manage health conditions
- A physical therapist teaches exercises that will be an integral part of your recovery process
- Educational materials about your specific joint replacement procedure
After surgery is scheduled, you will be contacted by the Joint Venture program coordinator to schedule a preoperative educational class.
Orthopedic rehabilitation
Our physical therapy specialists are experienced with helping you recover from orthopedic surgery.
If you require more intensive rehabilitation, we offer the specialized rehabilitation services of our affiliated providers at the Rehabilitation Institute of Northwest Florida. Our rehabilitation experts provide personalized plans to help you achieve your full potential through physical, occupational and recreational therapies.
Spine care
Our spine specialists are experienced in treating a wide range of back and neck conditions. We treat chronic back pain and spinal disorders, like scoliosis, and provide full-service spine care to diagnose and treat you.
