Specialties offered

General cardiology

(Preventive and routine care)

Heart care starts here. Our general cardiologists provide expert evaluation, prevention, and treatment for a healthier heart. We offer personalized care across multiple cardiovascular subspecialties, giving you access to innovative treatments and expert specialists. We work with each patient to carefully tailor the treatment plan to their unique needs.

Invasive cardiology

(Diagnostic & catheter-based treatments)

Invasive cardiologists diagnose and treat conditions like coronary artery disease, vascular disease, acquired structural heart disease, congestive heart failure, valvular heart disease and congenital heart disease. Our cardiologists perform invasive (surgical or catheter-based) procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases. We use catheters and other advanced medical devices to access the heart and blood vessels through small incisions. This allows for minimally invasive procedures, often resulting in faster recovery times and reduced hospital stay.

Cardiac imaging

(Diagnostic & monitoring services)

Diagnostic imaging is central to diagnosing and managing heart disease. We use advanced heart imaging technologies, such as nuclear imaging, echocardiograms and computerized tomography (CT) scans, to visualize and track the performance of the heart muscle to identify any abnormalities.

If further exploration is needed, we have on-site catheterization laboratories (cath labs) for minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment procedures.

Vascular medicine

(Circulatory issues & blood clots)

Your vascular health refers to the state of your blood vessels, which you know more commonly as “veins” and “arteries”.

This special system in your body is both delicate and complex, working closely with your heart to ensure you stay healthy. So, when your vascular system is compromised or develops diseases, the symptoms may not be what you’d expect. You might just have pain or cramps in your legs, for example, and may attribute that to age or something else. Our vascular surgeons, doctors and teams will always take you seriously when you voice these type of concerns. They will help diagnose your condition and get your vascular system working again.

  • Vascular surgery

Advanced heart failure

(Chronic and severe conditions)

Heart failure is a condition of the heart in which your heart muscle can no longer pump blood as well as it should. This sounds frightening, but heart failure is preventable, manageable and treatable. Whatever you need, our heart specialists can help. We’ll start by listening to your needs and concerns and provide you with an accurate diagnosis. Then, whether you simply need to make certain lifestyle changes or you need more advanced treatment, such as heart surgery, we’ll help you take those steps.

Interventional & structural cardiology

(Valve and artery repairs)

Interventional cardiology focuses on minimally invasive procedures to treat structural heart disease (including congenital heart defects), coronary artery disease, heart-valve disease and vascular disease.

To support long-term heart function, some of the procedures and treatments we offer include:

  • Balloon angioplasty
  • Stent placement for coronary artery obstructions
  • Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)

Cardiac electrophysiology

(Heart rhythm disorders & pacemakers)

You hear good news, and your heart flutters in response. But when does a more frequent flutter become a sign of something more serious? An irregular heartbeat, or heart arrhythmia, is an often uncomfortable sensation or painful event. It can raise many immediate fears and questions, but we are here to help. Our heart doctors and cardiac specialists are highly trained to diagnose and treat irregular heart rhythms.

Cardiac and thoracic surgery

(Surgery based treatments)

Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery focuses on surgical based procedures to treat structural heart disease (including congenital heart defects), coronary artery disease, heart-valve disease, lung disease and vascular disease.

  • Cardiac surgery
  • Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG)
  • Valve surgery
