Highlands Hospital brightens the holidays for 100+ local children

Sebring, FL — HCA Florida Highlands Hospital is proud to announce the successful completion of its holiday giving initiative, "adopting" more than 100 local children through the Healthy Families Highlands’ Holiday Toy Drive.

The hospital’s lobby was filled with holiday cheer as representatives from Healthy Families Highlands, a program under the Highlands County Board of County Commissioners, arrived to collect a massive donation of toys, clothes, cash, and other essential items. The gifts, donated by hospital staff and physicians, will be distributed to families in need across the Highlands community to ensure a magical holiday experience for every child.

"Seeing our team come together to support over 100 children is a testament to the compassion and generosity that defines our culture. Healthy Families is a nationally recognized program that provides free, voluntary home visiting services to promote positive parenting and healthy child development.
