HCA Florida Northside Hospital hosts Heart Healthy Lunch and Learn Disco Saves Lives

HCA Florida Northside Hospital is excited to bring timely health topics to our community, allowing participants to meet medical experts, during a lunch and learn format. HCA Florida Northside Hospital Cardiologist Robert Sanchez, MD, will explain the risk factors of heart disease and discuss the basics of CPR on Thursday, March 7^th from noon to 1:00 pm. Heart disease is a major cause of death and disability in the United States. Awareness is key to understanding symptoms and how you can reduce your risks and the risks of your loved ones. 

Dr. Sanchez will also teach participants how disco can save lives.  The tempo of “Staying Alive” is the cadence for maintaining compression rates in Hands Only CPR.  The American Heart Association be joining us to provide CPR mannequins on site so attendees can practice this life saving technique.                                         .

The presentation will be held at HCA Florida Northside Hospital, Medical Office Plaza 2^nd floor auditorium 6006 49^th Street North, St. Petersburg, on Thursday, March 7^th, 12:00 pm -1:00 pm.
